Two electronics components will broken if we plug the over voltage source to the projector. Over voltage is the voltage that higher than the rating of the projector. For example the projector need 220V but we plug 380V, or need 110V but we plug it 220V.
1. Fuse, this is a small part that working as a protector of the over current. When the voltage of source higher than the rate so the current will higher too and this will make the Fuse broken. If this part not broken, so the main controller of the power supply will broken and this problem need more dollars.
2. Elco, electrolytic capacitor. This component will broken if the Fuse not broken soon.
So, if you miss plug into the projector the higher voltage source and make your projector broken you should check the two parts above.
