Dell laptop beep 5 times during start up process, 5 times and continuously, how to fix this ?
1. Turn Off the laptop
2. Unplug the battery
3. Disassemble the case
4. Find the CMOS battery, check using multitester it's condition. The normal battery is about 3Volt, and broken battery will no voltage detected.
5. If the CMOS battery have broken, replace this with the new one. You can replace this with the PC cmos battery.
