How To Repair Vaio VPCCB Won't Turn ON
This is my real experience about how to repair Sony Vaio VPCCB laptop won't turn ON and or the power indicator of the charger unit off suddenly when plugged to the laptop. First step before try any steps please try the following simple steps :
1. Unplug the battery
2. Open the case and release the CMOS battery, wait for about 5 minutes
3. Try to turn ON without the CMOS battery
4. If success, re-assemble all part and the job finished
But if the steps above not success i think you should read the following instructions.
If the indicator of the charger off suddenly when plughed to the laptop check the mosfet near of the charger port at the motherboard, replace if broken.
Check the main power lane, in this experience we found the lane that is short circuit to the ground and finally we found a capacitor that is broken.
