Wireless cannot connect on Windows XP
This is one problem that happen on the laptop that is running Windows XP as the operating system, where the wireless device detected the Wi-Fi signal but when these Wi-Fi using the security code this laptop cannot connected although the security code entered correctly. Why this happen?
Here we want to share the solution to fix this problem.
This taken from my real experience on my Acer laptop. I have install the Windows XP and device drivers that needed installed too. The wifi signal that captured by laptop we can connect anyway, but when i enter the security code on the Wifi Modem this laptop cannot connect, although the entered code correct. I check the driver on the Device Manager and i does not found the ! attribute or ? that usually as the warning alert.
Until sometimes, i remember about the chipset driver, i looking for the match chipset driver according the type of our laptop and i try to install this, and after that i try to connect again, and the result is : The wireless have been connected to the wifi signal so that we can access internet using my Acer laptop.
So, the summary is that the wireless security code problem caused by the chipsed driver that not installed correctly, the solution is install the chipset driver correctly.
